Foreman - Heavy Civil Construction

We’re seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Construction Foreman to lead crews on roadway and underground utility projects in the Durango, Colorado area. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in building quality infrastructure and running safe, productive jobsites.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and supervise field crews on roadway, grading, and underground utility installations

  • Coordinate daily work activities, equipment, and materials

  • Read and interpret plans, specifications, and grade stakes

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies

  • Maintain production schedules and communicate progress to Project Managers and Superintendents

  • Troubleshoot field challenges and keep projects moving efficiently

  • Oversee installation of storm, sewer, and water systems

  • Perform quality control and ensure work meets project specifications

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in heavy civil construction

  • Strong background in roadway construction and underground utilities

  • Proven leadership experience managing crews in the field

  • Ability to read blueprints and understand grading/layout

  • Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus

  • Strong commitment to jobsite safety
