Summary: A commercial flooring contractor is looking for a detail-driven Project Manager / Estimator to bid, plan, and deliver flooring projects from takeoff through closeout. Great opportunity for someone who knows commercial flooring installation and enjoys both numbers and the jobsite.

About the Opportunity

GPAC is partnering with a confidential commercial flooring contractor that sells and installs turnkey projects. They need a Project Manager / Estimator who can turn plans into accurate bids and then deliver those jobs on time, on budget, and done right.

What You'll Do

• Do takeoffs and prepare estimates for commercial flooring projects from plans and specs
• Put together competitive proposals with the sales team
• Manage awarded projects: scheduling, material ordering, submittals, and coordination with GCs
• Coordinate installation crews and subcontractors, and check that work meets quality standards
• Track budgets, change orders, and project documents through closeout
• Communicate clearly with GCs, owners, designers, and internal teams

What You Bring

• 3+ years of estimating and/or project management experience in commercial flooring or a related interiors trade
• Experience with carpet tile, LVT, resilient, sheet goods, and/or hard surface installation
• Comfort reading blueprints and specifications; estimating software experience (e.g., Measure Square, On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam) is a plus
• Strong organization and the ability to juggle several projects at once
• Good working relationships with GCs, installers, and suppliers
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
