Job Title: Structural Steel Project Manager
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Structural Steel Project Manager to oversee fabrication and erection projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of experience managing structural steel work, including coordination with shop teams, field crews, vendors, and general contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage structural steel projects from planning through closeout
Coordinate with fabrication shops and erection crews to maintain schedule and quality
Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements
Oversee budgets, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
Communicate with clients, engineers, and internal teams
Ensure safety, quality, and compliance across all phases of the project
Resolve site issues and support field teams as needed
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in structural steel fabrication and erection project management
Strong understanding of steel detailing, fabrication processes, and field installation
Ability to read structural drawings and coordinate with engineering teams
Proven communication, organization, and leadership skills
Proficiency with common construction/project management software is a plus
