Your next move: running mechanical projects, not just supporting them. A mechanical contracting firm in Kansas City needs a Mechanical Project Manager to own HVAC, plumbing and piping jobs from contract to closeout.
Your job is to deliver projects. That means managing cost and cash flow, steering schedules, directing subcontractors and making sure the field builds it right and builds it safely.

- Strengthen client relationships and pass new opportunities to senior leadership
- Direct subcontractors: set scopes, manage contracts and changes, and confirm DBE/MBE and contract compliance
- Lead site safety: inspections, high-risk activity planning and site-specific safety requirements
- Keep contract documents, submittals, RFIs and closeout packages (O&M manuals, warranties, record drawings) organized
- Visit sites regularly to confirm mechanical, plumbing and specialty installs match the approved documents
- Approve invoices, oversee payables and receivables, prepare billing schedules and settle cost changes
- Plan manpower, track labor productivity and coordinate with purchasing, the shop, the warehouse and vendors
- Build and drive project schedules alongside engineering and P6 schedulers, including weekly work plans
