Bilingual Dispatcher (Waste & Recycling)

💰 $60,000 – $80,000 + Bonus
🕒 Full-Time | On-Site

Overview

We’re working with a well-established waste and recycling operation in Houston seeking a Bilingual Dispatcher (English/Spanish) with direct industry experience. This role is critical to daily operations—coordinating routes, supporting drivers, and ensuring service levels are met across a high-volume territory.

This is not an entry-level role—we’re looking for someone who understands the pace, pressure, and structure of the waste industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispatch and coordinate drivers across residential, commercial, and roll-off routes
• Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams in English and Spanish
• Monitor routes in real time and adjust for delays, missed pickups, and service issues
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and internal safety standards
• Track route completion, container movement, and service exceptions
• Work closely with operations and maintenance to keep fleet running efficiently

Requirements

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) – required
• 2+ years dispatching experience in waste, recycling, or environmental services – required
• Strong understanding of routing, logistics, and driver management
• Experience with dispatch/routing systems (Tower, Trux, or similar preferred)
• Ability to handle high call volume and fast-paced operations
• Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations is a plus
