Structural Steel Project Manager

A highly-respected Steel Fabricator and Erector is seeking an Project Manager to join their team. I am working with a company that are responsible for fabricating work throughout the pacific northwest from Alaska to Hawaii. Their main markets include the commercial, industrial, aerospace, and entertainment industries. They have not only quickly became the go to name in steel fabrication and erection working with some of the worlds most recognizable brands, They have received numerous quality, performance, and safety awards doing so. You'd be responsible for managing steel projects anywhere from $500k-$50M range.

*This position is in a Montana mountain town*

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of structural steel projects from initial planning to final completion.
  • Conduct site visits, coordinate with engineers and architects, manage project timelines and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety requirements and industry regulations.
  • Review project plans and ensure high standards of work.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, and vendors.

Qualifications:

  • PMP and five years or 10 years progressive experience in project management
  • Familiarity with project management software (Tekla, Bluebeam, and systems like Procore)
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret numbers, contracts, and blueprints
  • Understanding structural steel fabrication and erection processes
  • Ability to work with a collaborative management team
  • Secondary degree in business administration or engineering
