Job Title: Senior Plaintiff Personal Injury Deposition Attorney

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney with extensive experience conducting depositions in complex personal injury matters. This role is ideal for a seasoned litigator who thrives in high-volume litigation environments and has taken hundreds of depositions across a wide range of case types.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct and defend hundreds of depositions annually, including:

  • Plaintiffs

  • Defendants

  • Expert witnesses (medical, liability, vocational, economic)

  • Treating physicians

• Develop deposition outlines aligned with case themes and trial strategy

• Identify liability, causation, and damages leverage points

• Collaborate closely with trial attorneys to maximize settlement and verdict value

• Handle complex, high-exposure cases including catastrophic injury and wrongful death matters

• Argue and defend deposition-related motions (protective orders, motions to compel, etc.)

• Mentor junior attorneys on deposition strategy and technique

Qualifications

• 10+ years litigation experience

• Demonstrated record of taking hundreds of depositions

• Strong command of state and federal civil procedure rules

• Extensive experience with expert depositions

• Exceptional strategic thinking and case valuation skills

• Trial experience preferred

• Active license and good standing in California

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive base salary: $270,000- $325,000K
