The right Commercial Roofing Sheet Metal Estimator understands that accuracy, speed, and technical knowledge are what separate contenders from champions.
Perform detailed quantity take-offs for commercial roofing and sheet metal scopes
Analyze drawings, specs, and architectural details with precision
Coordinate vendor and supplier pricing
Identify scope gaps and risk before bid day
Collaborate with operations and project management to ensure smooth handoffs
Protect margins through disciplined estimating practices
The ideal Commercial Roofing Sheet Metal Estimator brings:
5+ years estimating commercial roofing and architectural sheet metal
Strong knowledge of coping, fascia, ACM panels, gutters, downspouts, and custom fabrication
Experience with Edge, Bluebeam, Planswift, or similar software
Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously without sacrificing accuracy
A track record of profitable awards
