The Opportunity
The firm is seeking a Civil Litigation Associate with 2–4 years of experience who can step in and immediately contribute. This is an opportunity to work on sophisticated matters while continuing to build litigation skills in a fast-paced, high-quality practice.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage a diverse caseload of civil and business litigation matters from inception through resolution
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and dispositive briefs
  • Take and defend depositions, attend hearings, mediations, and trials
  • Develop case strategy and provide practical legal advice to clients
  • Collaborate with partners and litigation teams on complex matters
  • Stay on top of deadlines in California’s fast-moving litigation environment

What They’re Looking For

  • JD from an accredited law school
  • Active California Bar license (required)
  • 2–4 years of civil litigation experience (law firm experience strongly preferred)
  • Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
  • Experience handling discovery and motion practice
  • Ability to manage cases independently while working within a team

Nice to Have

  • Experience in business or commercial litigation
  • Deposition experience and/or trial exposure
  • Familiarity with California state court procedures
