GPAC is currently seeking a Kill Floor/Harvest Supervisor on behalf of a well-established client in the meat processing industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader with strong production experience in a pork or beef facility who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Position Summary

The Kill Floor Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily harvest operations, ensuring production goals are met while maintaining strict compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. This role requires strong floor leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage and motivate a diverse workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead kill floor operations on first shift

  • Ensure daily production targets are met efficiently and safely

  • Maintain compliance with USDA, HACCP, and company food safety standards

  • Enforce plant safety policies and procedures

  • Monitor yields, line efficiency, and product quality

  • Train, coach, and develop team members

  • Address performance issues and drive continuous improvement

  • Collaborate with maintenance, quality assurance, and plant management teams

Qualifications

  • Required: Experience in a pork or beef processing facility

  • Previous supervisory or lead experience in a harvest/kill floor environment preferred

  • Strong knowledge of food safety and regulatory compliance

  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced production setting

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary: $70,000 – $80,000
