About the Opportunity
This is a key Quality leadership role on 2nd shift with real decision-making authority. You are the primary on-site Quality contact, protecting brand, food safety, and customer trust in real time. It’s an ideal role for someone ready to move from “individual contributor” to “front-line leader” and grow toward Quality Manager.
What You Will Do
Lead and coordinate all Quality activities on 2nd shift
Supervise, coach, and develop Quality Technicians
Enforce GMPs and quality standards on the floor
Perform line checks, glass & brittle plastic inspections, and documentation reviews
Support SQF, HACCP, GFSI, and customer requirements
Participate in environmental monitoring and micro testing programs
Investigate non-conformances, support root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
Partner closely with Production and Sanitation to prevent repeat issues
What You Bring
1–3+ years of Quality, Food Safety, or Sanitation experience in a food manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of GMPs, HACCP principles, and basic regulatory requirements
Strong attention to detail and comfort making decisions under pressure
Ability to communicate clearly with operators, supervisors, and management
A leadership mindset: you hold the line on standards while supporting the team
