Estimator Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Construction, or Accounting
• 3+ years minimum in similar estimating role
• Experience with residential landscape construction strongly preferred
• Experience in a design/build firm strongly preferred

Estimators responsibilities:

• Communicating effectively with landscape architects, managers, crews and vendors to explain construction drawings.
• Resolve discrepancies by collecting and reviewing information; reviews and assess cost estimates 
• Collect quotes on projects
• Identify labor, time, and material demands to construct costs for projects
• Prepare and present cost estimate reports
• Oversee stages of project and perform risk assessments regularly
• Ensure process follows contract appropriately
• Take onsite inventories and field measurements as necessary

Estimator Requirements:

• Read blueprints, quotes, and understand construction specifications
• Insight on landscape installation, site work, building materials and plants
• Need strong problem solving and communication skills
• Experience with Builder Trend, Boss, and Google Suite

Estimator Compensation:

$60,000-$90,000 (negotiable depending on experience)
