I’m partnering with a privately held residential builder that has been a trusted leader in Georgia homebuilding for more than 30 years. As they continue expanding their portfolio of award-winning, master-planned communities, they are seeking a Director of Land Development to oversee, manage, and grow their development pipeline across metro Atlanta.

Position: Director of Land Development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all land development activities from due diligence through construction and turnover

  • Manage budgets, schedules, and quality standards for all development projects

  • Oversee consultants, engineers, contractors, and trade partners

  • Collaborate with internal teams on planning, design, and community execution

  • Ensure compliance with local jurisdictions, permitting, and environmental requirements

What They’re Looking For:

  • 7+ years of land development experience (residential strongly preferred)

  • Proven success managing land development projects in metro Atlanta

  • Strong understanding of site work, utilities, grading, and horizontal construction

  • Ability to lead multiple communities simultaneously
