We are seeking a skilled, hands-on Maintenance Technician to support a brand-new, state-of-the-art USDA egg processing and packaging facility in Central California.

You will play a foundational role in maintaining advanced automated egg production equipment, implementing preventive maintenance strategies, and optimizing operational uptime. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on automated egg grading, wash, processing, and packaging equipment.
  • Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize line downtime.
  • Maintain compliance with USDA, SQF, OSHA, and company food safety standards.
  • Assist in establishing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and preventive maintenance (PM) schedules for new processing equipment.
  • Collaborate with plant management on equipment upgrades, line layouts, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidate Qualifications

  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience specifically within egg production, grading, or processing facilities.
  • Solid background in food manufacturing safety, sanitation protocols, and USDA compliance.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting proficiency (PLCs, motor controls, conveyors, and automated packaging systems).
  • Self-motivated mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to relocate to Central California (relocation package included).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 annual base (based on experience).
