A highly regarded Am Law firm is seeking a mid- to senior-level Business Transactions Associate to join its Kansas City office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with strong experience in mergers & acquisitions and broad corporate transactional matters to work within a collaborative and sophisticated practice.
The ideal candidate will have experience handling a wide range of corporate matters, including:
Mergers & acquisitions
Commercial transactions
Corporate governance and compliance
Contract drafting and negotiation
Reorganizations
Tax-related corporate matters
This role offers meaningful client interaction, high-level transactional work, and the opportunity to contribute strategically to complex business matters.
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school with an excellent academic record
Admission to the Missouri Bar and in good standing
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in M&A and corporate transactions
Ability to interface directly with attorneys and clients
Strong ability to work independently and manage multiple matters effectively
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Sound judgment and strategic thinking abilities
Ability to develop and implement legal strategies
Interest in and ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
