Are you an experienced banking professional ready to take the next step in your career? Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a direct report to the Chief Operations Officer with 10+ years of experience at a large bank ($5B+ in assets) to provide critical oversight and leadership across retail branch networks, small business, and commercial lending operations.
In this pivotal role, you will:
- Oversee retail branch and small business operations, along with CRE & C&I loan and deposit lines
- Drive operational process improvements, policies, and scalable systems
- Assess, develop, and coach staff to elevate team performance
- Ensure SOX controls are maintained and implement new controls as needed
- Support the COO by managing workload and strategic initiatives
The ideal candidate brings:
- A Bachelor's degree and 10+ years in banking operations
- Strong core system knowledge and experience with Dimensions in Operations
- Proven leadership, analytical skills, and strategic execution capabilities
- Experience supporting M&A activities within a large banking environment
Required: recent experience with a $5Billion assets financial institution.
