Senior Project Manager (Sr PM) – Commercial Construction | Ground-Up | Public Sector

Join a family-owned commercial general contractor with 60+ years of experience delivering high-quality ground-up construction projects across the public sector. We are hiring a Senior Project Manager (Sr PM) with strong experience in commercial construction, public works, and ground-up builds.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage ground-up commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Lead project teams including Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractors
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, cost control, and risk management
• Maintain client relationships across public sector projects (K-12, higher education, municipal)
• Coordinate with internal teams on estimating, procurement, and project execution

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in commercial construction project management
• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager or Project Manager (PM)
• Strong background in ground-up construction projects
• Experience with public works / public sector construction required
• Knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, and cost control
• 4-year degree required (Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field)
