Industrial Construction Project Manager

Location: Waterloo, IA 50701

Company Overview

A regional construction company supporting manufacturing, processing, logistics, and heavy-industrial project work across Northern and Eastern Iowa.

Position Summary

The PM manages industrial project execution including facility upgrades, equipment coordination, shutdown work, expansions, and utility system improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, scheduling, procurement, and change management.

  • Manage subcontractors, equipment vendors, and internal teams.

  • Oversee commissioning, testing, and turnover.

  • Maintain communication with plant leadership and engineering groups.

  • Implement cost controls, reporting, and forecasts.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years industrial construction or heavy-commercial PM experience.

  • Strong mechanical/process systems familiarity.

  • Ability to manage fast-paced environments and coordinated shutdowns.
