Healthcare Construction Project Manager
Our client is a reputable construction firm specializing in healthcare facilities and is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee healthcare construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Position Overview
The Healthcare Construction Project Manager will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and delivery of healthcare projects, ensuring compliance with strict regulatory requirements while maintaining schedule, budget, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage healthcare construction projects from preconstruction through completion
Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and forecasts
Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and field leadership
Oversee subcontractor procurement, contracts, and change management
Ensure compliance with healthcare codes, life safety requirements, and infection control standards
Lead project meetings and communicate project status to stakeholders
Manage projects in occupied or sensitive healthcare environments when applicable
Qualifications
5+ years of project management experience in healthcare construction
Experience with hospitals, medical office buildings, clinics, or surgical centers
Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, life safety systems, and compliance standards
Proven ability to manage complex projects and multiple stakeholders
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Proficiency with construction management software (Procore or similar preferred)
