A dynamic and growing wealth management division within a community-focused financial institution is looking for a Trust and Operations Associate to join their team. This role supports both the trust administration and operations functions and is a strong fit for a candidate who enjoys detail-oriented work, has a service-first mindset, and is eager to grow in the trust and financial services industry.

This is a hands-on, client-facing position that plays a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day management of trust accounts, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate records—all while supporting senior trust officers.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the administration of trust, estate, and agency accounts

  • Open and maintain trust accounts, process account changes, and update asset records

  • Process daily account transactions including ACHs, wires, bill payments, and deposits

  • Monitor and manage account activity in accordance with legal documents and internal policies

  • Assist with mail handling, document management, and account maintenance

  • Collaborate with trust officers and operations leadership to ensure smooth delivery of service

  • Serve as a backup to retail banking functions as needed

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in trust administration or financial operations

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field preferred

  • Strong Excel and Microsoft 365 skills; comfort with data entry and financial software

  • Excellent communication and client service abilities

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines with a high degree of accuracy

  • Professional demeanor and eagerness to work collaboratively within a tight-knit team

This position is ideal for someone with foundational experience in trust services or financial operations who’s ready to step into a growth-oriented, client-facing role. The organization offers competitive pay, a discretionary annual bonus, and excellent benefits.
