Manufacturing Engineer – Precision Machining

 

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead process development and continuous improvement in a modern machine shop environment. This role is perfect for an engineer with strong process knowledge who thrives on problem-solving and optimizing production efficiency.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop manufacturing methods, processes, and documentation for customer requirements.

  • Select tooling and create process sheets, drawings, and travelers.

  • Partner with supervisors to reduce set-up and cycle times.

  • Analyze and resolve manufacturing challenges while driving productivity improvements.

  • Support CAD/CAM activity and provide technical guidance.

  • Evaluate manufacturing processes for efficiency, accuracy, and conformance.

  • Ensure safe, clean, and organized operations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of engineering experience in precision machining or related field.

  • Strong technical knowledge of metalworking and plating processes.

  • Proficiency in GD&T, process engineering, tolerance stacking, and fixturing concepts.

  • Skilled in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and inspection requirements.

  • Hands-on experience with precision measurement and in-process inspection.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to work independently and in teams.
