A local Bar & Grill in Downtown Brighton, MI., is seeking a qualified prep cook to join our fun and talented staff. We are a local favorite for quality pub food and a chill atmosphere. If you like working in a clean kitchen with minimal stress and a family environment with standards, apply here.

Hours Wednesday - Sunday 11:00am to 4:00pm

The pay rate is $17/hour

What you’ll be doing

• Use established recipes to make products
• Food-prep equipment and keep the area clean
• Check production schedules to determine what and how much you should make
• Make sure items are covered, stored and dated properly
• Rotate stock- use first in, first out
• Change food containers in coolers/freezers as needed – looking at date prepared

Skills you’ll bring along

• Great communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Able to read and interpret recipes
• Lift and/or move 10 to 30 lbs.
• SafeServ certification a plus
