I am partnered with a growing Independent Insurance Agency who is looking for an experienced Commercial Lines Account Executive to join their team. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your main duties will involve selling and renewing Commercial Insurance to businesses within our community and region. Our collaborative work environment will provide you with ample resources to help you maximize your potential. The primary focus of this position is on generating new sales, and there is also an emphasis on cross-selling to existing clients.

YOUR TASKS WILL INCLUDE:

Taking responsibility for developing and successfully acquiring new business revenue from both new and established clients. Identifying business needs and proposing suitable company products and services by prospecting sectors or market areas. Actively pursuing prospects and generating interest through telephone calls, letter writing, or personal visits. Keeping up-to-date and enhancing expertise in specific sectors or market areas by networking and participating in professional development activities. Identifying areas for continuous improvement and implementing initiatives to increase cost savings, efficiency, or effectiveness. Building and nurturing strong relationships with prospects and clients. Achieving predetermined sales goals.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Possession of a Property & Casualty License.
  • At least 4 years of successful experience in sales of Commercial Insurance.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Suite.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
