Audit Manager - Banking

Location: Livingston, NJ

Overview

A large national public accounting, consulting and technology firm is seeking an Audit Manager to serve banking clients from its Livingston, New Jersey office. You will oversee audit teams, manage client relationships and design audit strategies tailored to each client’s industry and risks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage audit teams to deliver high-quality work in line with professional standards
• Serve as the primary client contact, with responsive and proactive communication
• Plan and design audit strategies tailored to client industry and risks, ensuring regulatory and accounting compliance
• Manage budgeting, scheduling, billing and resource allocation
• Present audit findings and recommendations to senior management or audit committees
• Contribute to proposals, business development and professional networking

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, finance or related field
• 5+ years of recent public accounting external audit experience with banking clients
• CPA license (or ability to obtain reciprocity)
• 3+ years of supervisory experience
• Strong analytical, communication and project management skills
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
