Job Description

A well-established law firm is seeking an Insurance Defense Litigation Associate to join its California team. This is an open position to both experienced attorneys and newly admitted California attorneys. The position offers a platform for mentorship and growth, while having the ability to work in a remote environment.

Candidates should have strong writing and analytical skills and an interest in insurance defense litigation. Responsibilities include drafting and responding to discovery, motion practice, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation. Exposure to construction defect, general liability, commercial, or professional liability matters is a plus.

Requirements:

• Active California Bar license, in good standing
• Strong legal writing and case management skills
• Insurance defense experience preferred (new attorneys encouraged to apply)

Details:

• Remote or hybrid (must reside in California)
• Salary: $110,000–$145,000 DOE
• Full benefits package including 401(k), insurance coverage, PTO, disability, and EAP
