Audit Senior

Location: Charlotte, NC

Overview

A large national assurance, tax and advisory firm is seeking an Audit Senior in Charlotte. The ideal candidate brings a passion for client service, integrity, strong project management and leadership skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

• Discuss engagement efficiencies and client-specific risks
• Develop the audit approach used by engagement teams
• Instruct and oversee staff throughout engagements
• Review complex client transactions
• Prepare and/or review financial statements
• Complete general audit procedures, including closing communications and client correspondence
• Research technical issues

Qualifications

• 2+ years of public accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in accounting; Master's preferred
• CPA or eligible to work toward a CPA license
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
• Experience with Engagement audit software a plus
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
