Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced Accountant or Controller to take a leadership role in managing the financial operations of a growing business. This individual will oversee accounting functions, financial reporting, and compliance, while assisting in tax preparation and planning for the company.

Accountant/Controller Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and budgeting processes

• Prepare and file all federal, state, and local tax returns for the business

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes and produce accurate financial statements

• Develop and maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to leadership

• Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and banking partners as needed

Accountant/Controller Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required

• Minimum 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, including tax preparation and compliance

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Accountant/Controller Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary: $70,000–$100,000+ DOE
