Responsibilities:
- Manage a full caseload of plaintiff personal injury matters from inception through resolution, including complex litigation and trial.
- Conduct depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances.
- Develop and execute effective litigation strategies.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
- Provide exceptional client communication and service.
- Collaborate effectively with paralegals, legal assistants, and other team members.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing of the California State Bar.
- Minimum of 5-6 years of experience practicing as a Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney.
- Demonstrated significant trial experience is a non-negotiable requirement. Candidates must be comfortable and proficient in all aspects of trial, including jury selection, opening statements, direct and cross-examination, and closing arguments.
- Strong understanding of California personal injury law, civil procedure, and rules of evidence.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage a demanding caseload efficiently and effectively.
- Must be willing to work 100% in office. This is not a remote or hybrid position.
- Ability to start right away or as soon as possible.
