Tax Senior

Location: Wayne, PA

Overview

A nationally ranked, employee-owned accounting and advisory firm is seeking a Tax Senior for a new office in Wayne, Pennsylvania. You will run client engagements from start to finish and supervise and mentor associates. This is a hybrid position with three days per week onsite.

Responsibilities

• Run client engagements from planning through completion and manage to budget
• Supervise, train and mentor associates and interns; perform in-charge role as needed
• Review returns prepared by staff and recommend accuracy improvements and tax savings
• Prepare complex individual, trust, partnership, corporate and foreign returns
• Research and consult on tax matters
• Respond to IRS and other tax authority inquiries
• Travel to clients occasionally

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's preferred
• 2+ years of progressive tax preparation and compliance experience
• CPA license or in process of obtaining
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ProSystem Engagement and CCH Axcess
• Construction, manufacturing and distribution, real estate, financial services or private client experience desired
• Strong tax accounting skills, including consolidated, partnership and combined state returns
