Job Description

Bring your steel project management experience to a structural steel fabricator serving Middletown, OH. This role connects the fabrication shop with the field, making sure every job hits its schedule, budget, and quality targets.

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinate with steel erectors on sequencing, delivery timing, site logistics, and field issues
• Handle RFIs and submittals and run project meetings with general contractors, owners, and erectors
• Oversee fabricated steel projects from contract award through closeout, including scope, schedule, budget, and change orders
• Keep detailers, engineers, and the shop aligned on drawings, approvals, and fabrication
• Follow costs, billing, and production, and call out risks early

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of structural steel fabrication or steel erection project management
• Reads structural and shop drawings with confidence
• Hands-on experience coordinating steel erectors and field crews
• Engineering or construction management degree, or equivalent experience, preferred
• Strong cost-control, scheduling, and communication skills
