Senior Structural Engineer - Bridges & Retaining Walls in Minneapolis

Job Description

I am partnered with an award-winning, multi-disciplined firm that offers a full range of services to both public and private sector clients and they are looking to add a Senior Structural Engineer. This candidate will work on a wide range of transportation design projects.

Responsibilities:

• Support existing transportation projects and serve as a PM on upcoming projects
• Designated client contact
• Participate in project interviews, attends client meetings, and conducts public presentations
• Design bridges, retaining walls, overhead sign structures, and other miscellaneous structures
• Structural design of steel, prestressed concrete, and cast-in-place concrete bridges
• Preliminary and final bridge plan development
• Assist in business development, client relations and team development 

Required Experience:

• 8+ years of bridge and transportation structures design experience 
• Knowledge of AASHTO LRFD and MnDOT policies and procedures
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field 
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) 
• Strong working knowledge of structural analysis software such as CSiBridge, LARSA 4D, MIDAS, STAAD, Bentley OpenBridge Designer as well as Bentley OpenRoads CAD software
