About the Role

We are seeking an experienced QC/QA Manager to oversee quality control and quality assurance for water purifiing plant construction projects. This role is responsible for ensuring all aspects of the plant—from civil and structural work to mechanical, piping, and process systems—are built in compliance with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

This position is ideal for a driven, self-starting professional who can step onto a complex $100M+ water purifing projects and establish effective quality processes immediately.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage the project-wide QC/QA program for water purifing plant construction

  • Ensure compliance with contract documents, drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements

  • Oversee inspections and testing for civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, and process scopes

  • Coordinate with third-party testing agencies, inspectors, engineers, and municipal stakeholders

  • Track, document, and resolve non-conforming work (NCRs)

  • Maintain all quality documentation, logs, reports, and closeout packages

  • Participate in pre-installation meetings, inspections, and commissioning readiness reviews

  • Work closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, and Engineers to proactively prevent quality issues

Qualifications

  • Extensive QC/QA experience with water purifing plant projects

  • Background in heavy civil and/or industrial construction preferred

  • Proven experience supporting or leading large-scale projects ($100M+)

  • Strong understanding of municipal standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and drive quality initiatives

  • Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills

  • OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 preferred but not required

  • Valid driver’s license (truck allowance provided)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $90,000–$110,000, based on experience

  • Truck allowance
