Senior Project Manager | Commercial Construction

A Beloit/Rockford area commercial general contractor is seeking a Senior Project Manager who can take ownership of complex projects, build strong client relationships, and provide leadership that keeps both the office and field moving toward the same goal.
This opportunity combines hands-on project management with mentoring and team leadership. You’ll guide projects from preconstruction through closeout, make informed decisions, and address challenges before they become costly problems.
What You’ll Lead
Project planning, budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor buyout, and execution.
Financial performance, including cost reporting, forecasting, and change management.
Coordination with owners, architects, engineers, superintendents, and subcontractors.
Project meetings, site reviews, and timely resolution of construction issues.
Mentoring Project Managers and supporting accountability across project teams.
Quality, safety, and successful project turnover.
What You Bring
7–10+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects, with industrial experience also valued.
A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Strong command of contracts, drawings, specifications, construction costs, and schedules.
The judgment to manage competing priorities and make sound decisions.
Clear communication and the ability to earn trust with clients and field teams.
Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office.
