🚨 Bankruptcy & Restructuring Legal Assistant | Pittsburgh, PA 🚨

We’re seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join a dynamic Bankruptcy & Restructuring practice group in Pittsburgh. This is a great opportunity to support a fast-paced team working closely with shareholders, associates, and paralegals on complex foreclosure and restructuring matters.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, high-volume legal environment and is eager to grow into more complex responsibilities over time.

🔹 What you’ll be doing:
• Providing administrative support across bankruptcy & restructuring matters
• Managing complex calendaring and deadlines for multiple attorneys
• Drafting documents with direction (engagement letters, cover letters, etc.)
• Assisting with attorney billing and court preparation
• Maintaining organized files for multiple attorneys (5 shareholders, 1 senior associate, 1 associate, 1 paralegal)
• Supporting foreclosure and litigation administrative tasks
• Learning and assisting with court filing processes

🔹 Required qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant or similar role
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Professional communication skills (client-facing)
• Solid writing and editing ability
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Experience with PACER (dockets, party info, pleadings download)
• Familiarity with CaseMax or similar case management systems
• Experience with state court filings and county/prothonotary systems

🔹 Preferred qualifications:
• Experience with iManage document management system
• ECF / federal court e-filing experience
• Paralegal certificate
• Active Notary license

Salary commensurate with candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
