Position: Senior Estimator

Industry: Commercial Construction – Federal / Tribal / Institutional

Compensation: $140,000–$170,000+ Base Salary (Depending on Experience) + Bonus + Full Benefits

A respected and well-established general contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator with a strong background in Native American projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to play a key role in the growth and success of a company that values integrity, collaboration, and precision in preconstruction.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the full estimating process for commercial and tribal projects ranging from $5M–$100M+.

  • Review plans, specs, and scopes to create accurate cost estimates and competitive bids.

  • Manage takeoffs, subcontractor outreach, bid leveling, and proposal preparation.

  • Collaborate with project management, design, and ownership teams through all preconstruction phases.

  • Provide value engineering solutions and ensure constructability alignment.

  • Mentor junior estimators and help strengthen internal estimating procedures.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction, with specific exposure to Native American projects (BIA, IHS, HUD, or similar).

  • Proven ability to estimate large-scale, ground-up, and renovation work.

  • Proficiency with estimating and takeoff software (Bluebeam, OST, Planswift, etc.).

  • Strong knowledge of materials, means, and current market pricing.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
