Job Description

We are partnered with a well established, family-owned company that has a need for a Quality Technician in the South Bend area that has prioritized craftsmanship and employee care.

They’re looking for someone who takes real pride in craftsmanship by testing metal products from Stamping presses, Precision Machining, Tool and Die, Metal Fabrication, welding and laser cutting, and more.

A few role details:

• Technical Analysis: Read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings to guide inspection requirements
• Weld Verification: A major part of the role involves performing inspections on aluminum and steel components by performing cut-and-etch tests on MIG/TIG welds to verify structural integrity and quality.
• Stamping presses: Have solid understanding of Stamping Presses, and precision machines.
• ISO 9000 Oversight: Work daily within ISO 9000 frameworks to maintain high-level quality certifications.
• Detailed Reporting: Accurately track results and maintain organized records for all quality audits and material verifications.
