Associate Attorney – Insurance Coverage Litigation (Confidential Opportunity)

A well-established and highly respected law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Insurance Coverage practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to work on sophisticated insurance coverage litigation matters with a collaborative team and a clear path for professional growth.

What We're Looking For

  • Admitted to practice in all New York courts (required)
  • Admission in both New York and New Jersey is preferred
  • 3–4+ years of insurance coverage litigation experience, with an emphasis on product liability policies
  • Strong deposition experience, including taking and defending depositions
  • State and federal court litigation experience
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Stable and progressive work history

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop litigation strategies for complex insurance coverage disputes and class actions
  • Conduct legal research and draft memoranda
  • Analyze insurance policies and claims, providing coverage opinions and recommendations
  • Take and defend depositions
  • Draft motions, pleadings, briefs, discovery requests, interrogatories, and other litigation documents
  • Attend court hearings, mediations, and other legal proceedings
  • Mentor and supervise junior associates and paralegals
