Data Privacy Attorney

A highly regarded Colorado business law firm is seeking a Data Privacy Attorney to join a sophisticated, business-focused privacy practice.

This is an advisory role—not a litigation position. The attorney will work directly with SaaS, technology, life sciences, and other growth-oriented companies on privacy compliance, contracts, product counseling, transactions, and incident response.

The Opportunity

This role offers the chance to handle sophisticated privacy matters within a highly rated Colorado firm. Privacy is a core practice, and attorneys are given meaningful client access, ownership of matters, and the opportunity to become trusted business advisers.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on state, federal, and international privacy requirements
• Draft and negotiate data privacy, technology, and commercial agreements
• Counsel clients on product development, data use, and privacy compliance
• Support corporate transactions involving privacy and data-security issues
• Assist with incident response and breach preparedness
• Develop practical, business-minded solutions for emerging privacy issues

Qualifications

• 4+ years of meaningful data privacy experience
• Active Colorado law license
• Strong drafting, counseling, and client-management skills
• Experience advising technology, SaaS, life sciences, or other growth-oriented businesses is preferred
• Ability to manage matters independently and communicate practical legal guidance
