Job Title: Diesel Technician

Job Summary:
The Diesel Technician will diagnose, repair, and maintain agricultural and turf equipment, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for mechanically inclined individuals who take pride in their work and seek long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnostics & Repair:

  • Diagnose and repair agricultural equipment, including harvesters, combines, and tractors.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Use Service Advisor and diagnostic tools for repairs.

Equipment & Shop Maintenance:

  • Maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment.
  • Ensure safety compliance and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Accurately record time, materials, and repairs on work orders.

Customer Service & Training:

  • Communicate with customers regarding service needs and repairs.
  • Participate in training programs.
  • Work collaboratively with the service team for efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance.
  • Experience with agricultural equipment (harvesters, combines) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software (Service Advisor preferred).
  • Ability to lift 75+ lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Basic Service Technician certification preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
