An award-winning civil engineering firm is seeking a Transportation Project Engineer with experience in roadway and infrastructure design to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to lead the development of transportation projects from concept through construction, working closely with local municipalities, ODOT, and other industry partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead plan production efforts for municipal and ODOT transportation projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D

  • Coordinate with local municipalities, ODOT, contractors, and consulting partners

  • Prepare project budgets, schedules, and technical proposals

  • Develop construction cost estimates and quantities for bidding

  • Collaborate with technical staff across disciplines to deliver high-quality engineering solutions

  • Maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and reliable project delivery

Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Civil Engineering

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or actively pursuing licensure

  • 4+ years of experience in transportation design (e.g., roadways, public utilities, traffic)

  • Strong initiative and time management skills with a proactive approach to meeting deadlines

  • Working proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
