Experienced Litigation Paralegal – Insurance Defense
Location: San Antonio, TX
Job Type: Full-Time | In-Person
Overview: a GPAC client is seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal with at least 7 years of experience in insurance defense and commercial litigation, ideally with a focus on trucking litigation. This is a hands-on role supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and respond to lawsuits and discovery
Prepare motions and manage document production
Schedule and coordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials
Maintain litigation calendars, meet deadlines, and organize case files
Retrieve, review, and file medical and business records
Coordinate with expert witnesses and interact with clients and carriers
Qualifications:
7+ years of litigation paralegal experience (insurance defense required; trucking litigation preferred)
Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Adobe; Citrix ShareFile a plus
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable with high case volume and fast turnarounds
Spanish fluency is a plus
