We are seeking a Senior Tax Manager who is ready to take ownership of a tax function, lead a team, and play a key role in firm growth.

Key Responsibilities

Tax Leadership & Department Management

- Oversee and manage tax department workflow and operations

- Drive efficiency, quality control, and engagement deadlines

- Standardize and improve tax processes and procedures

- Partner with leadership on strategic growth initiatives

 Tax Compliance & Technical Review

- Review complex individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns

- Perform high-level tax research and resolve technical issues

- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations

 

Tax Planning & Advisory

- Lead proactive tax planning strategies for clients

- Identify tax-saving opportunities and long-term planning solutions

- Provide advisory services beyond compliance

 Client Relationship Management

- Lead client meetings and tax strategy discussions

- Serve as a trusted advisor to business owners and individuals

- Communicate complex tax concepts clearly and effectively

 Team Leadership & Development

- Mentor, train, and develop tax staff and senior accountants

- Provide technical guidance and support

 Preferred

- CPA license

- 7+ years of public accounting tax experience

- Experience reviewing complex tax returns

- Strong project management and multitasking skills

- Excellent communication and leadership abilities

- Prior tax leadership or management experience

- Experience with tax planning and advisory services

- Master’s degree in Taxation or Accounting (MST or MAcc)
