A well-established Oakland civil litigation firm is hiring an Associate Attorney to join its growing team. This hybrid role offers hands-on experience across a broad civil litigation practice, close mentorship from seasoned attorneys, and a real path to grow your career. You'll be exposed to a wide range of matters, including product liability, breach of contract, medical malpractice, employment law, business litigation, and torts.

What you'll do:

• Manage civil litigation matters from case intake through trial
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
• Take and defend depositions and manage written discovery
• Appear at hearings, mediations, and court conferences
• Work directly with clients, partners, and experts

What you bring:

• 0-5 years of civil litigation experience (new attorneys welcome)
• Active member in good standing of the California State Bar
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Organization and the ability to manage multiple matters
• A collaborative, team-first approach
