Job Title: Estimator – Commercial Interiors

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join a well-respected commercial interiors contractor specializing in high-quality tenant improvement and renovation projects. The company focuses on corporate offices, law firms, healthcare facilities, and higher-education environments, delivering projects for clients who value long-term partnerships. With the majority of their business coming from repeat clients, the team has built a reputation for quality, reliability, and strong client relationships.
The Estimator will play a key role in the preconstruction process by preparing accurate cost estimates and collaborating with project teams to ensure projects are properly scoped and priced. This individual will work closely with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to deliver competitive bids and support successful project execution.
Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial interior construction projects
Review plans, specifications, and project documents to develop accurate quantity takeoffs
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor bids
Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
Identify value engineering opportunities and potential cost risks
Assist in preparing proposals, budgets, and bid packages
Maintain and update cost databases and historical pricing
Collaborate with project managers and leadership during preconstruction
Ideally 5+ years of experience estimating commercial interior construction or tenant improvement projects
Experience with projects such as corporate offices, law firms, healthcare, or higher-education facilities preferred
Strong understanding of construction documents, materials, and building systems
Proficiency with estimating software and Excel
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
