Job Description

A structural steel fabrication company with three local shops needs a Safety Director on board immediately. Reporting directly to leadership, you'll run safety across all three locations and have the authority to decide how it gets done.

What you'll do

• Build out and lead the safety program for all 3 fabrication shops
• Run inspections, audits and incident investigations to keep every shop OSHA compliant
• Report safety metrics and trends to leadership on a regular basis
• Coach shop leaders and train crews on safe fabrication practices
• Identify hazards before they become incidents and drive corrective actions

What we're looking for

• Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards
• Experience leading safety in structural steel fabrication or a similar industrial/manufacturing environment
• Comfortable managing safety across multiple local sites
• Steel erection safety experience will also be considered

Compensation & benefits

• $100K–$120K base salary
• Bonus based on company performance
