Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager (APM)
We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager to support construction projects from pre-construction through completion. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of construction experience, preferably with a commercial concrete contractor, steel fabrication company, or general contractor.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, and coordination.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and submittals.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, field teams, and clients.
- Track RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.
- Assist with material procurement and cost control.
- Help ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of construction industry experience.
- Experience with a commercial concrete contractor, steel fabricator, or general contractor preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software preferred.
