I'm working with one of New England's largest law firms, which is adding an experienced attorney to its growing Corporate/Real Estate group in downtown Portland. You'd work on commercial real estate and finance matters for local and national clients, with a high level of client contact and real responsibility early on.
What you'll do:
- Handle all phases of commercial loan and real estate transactions
- Work on commercial real estate acquisitions, development, and financing
- Work with attorneys across the firm's offices on matters that cross state and regional lines
What you'll bring:
- JD and active (or anticipated) Maine bar membership
- 4-6 years of experience in commercial lending and commercial real estate
- Land use, permitting, title examination, and title insurance experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to manage complex matters and deadlines
- An existing book of business is a plus but not required
