Project Executive – Commercial Construction

A well-established and highly respected commercial general contractor is seeking a Project Executive to lead its operations and drive continued growth. This firm specializes in sophisticated commercial projects with high-end interior finishes, delivering exceptional quality across a diverse portfolio.

This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing office operations, managing project teams, and contributing to strategic business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide executive-level leadership for all construction operations within the office
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Project Managers, Superintendents, and support staff
• Ensure successful delivery of projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction
• Collaborate with ownership on strategic planning and growth initiatives
• Support and participate in business development efforts, including client relationships and pursuit strategies
• Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performing team culture

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in commercial construction
• Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing multiple projects and teams
• Strong background in high-end interior or finish-focused commercial projects
• Experience with medical and/or financial (banking) projects strongly preferred
• Demonstrated success in building and developing healthy, high-performing teams
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate as a self-starter
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills
