The Impact You’ll Have

As a Senior Professional Transportation Engineer / Project Manager, you will play a key leadership role within the transportation group. You will collaborate with other senior leaders to mentor and develop staff, support team growth, and help shape a strong, engaged group culture. This role also provides the opportunity to leverage industry relationships to expand the client base through marketing efforts, proposal leadership, and industry involvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead roadway/highway design and provide technical guidance
  • Manage projects from proposals through delivery, including scope, schedule, budget, and client engagement
  • Mentor and develop engineering staff, fostering a collaborative, high-performing team
  • Build and maintain client relationships while supporting business development and marketing efforts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
  • 10+ years of highway and roadway design experience
  • Experience producing layouts, plans, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Proficiency with MicroStation and GEOPAK
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage projects and meet schedules and deadlines
  • Experience supervising, leading, and mentoring engineering staff
  • Ability to present technical concepts clearly to clients and the public
  • Public engagement experience
  • Track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Experience with proposal writing and project pursuits
  • Design-build or CMGC experience preferred
