Commercial Construction Project Manager

Location: Tampa Bay, FL

A well-established and growing commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team in the Tampa Bay area.

The Project Manager will oversee commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating with owners, subcontractors, field teams, architects, and other project stakeholders to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
• Coordinate with owners, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams
• Review contracts, plans, specifications, and project documentation
• Manage change orders, project costs, and overall financial performance
• Monitor project progress, quality, and safety
• Lead project meetings and communicate project updates to stakeholders
• Identify and resolve project issues and risks
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Support closeout and turnover activities

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction
• Experience managing commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and project management
• Experience working with owners, subcontractors, and field teams
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Experience with construction project management software preferred
